How does Teigle work?
Pull from the dough at the top of the bakery and let go – the further you pull, the harder it flies into the tin. Two matching doughs merge into the next bake. There are eleven of them, from the little Teigle to the Riesenlaib (giant loaf).
Why do the doughs grow?
It’s yeast dough: every dough rises over time and pushes upwards – the longer the round, the faster. A freshly merged dough starts small again.
What are the fists for?
Tap a dough briefly to punch it down: it shrinks back to its original size. You start with 3 fists and earn one more every 4 merges (up to 5).
When does the tin overflow?
If a dough rests above the dashed line at the rim for a little over two seconds, the round is over. Just before, the line flashes red – time for a fist.
What happens with two giant loaves?
The whole bakery celebrates. Try it!
Daily Dough
How does the Daily Dough work?
Every day there’s one dough for everyone: the same starting doughs and the same order, 30 throws. You can bake it once a day. A new one arrives at midnight (local time).
What does the shared result mean?
Each square stands for one of the eleven bakes, from Teigle to Riesenlaib: 🟨 reached, 🟧 your biggest, ⬜ not yet. Below are your points and the name of your biggest bake.
What is the streak?
Bake the Daily Dough on several days in a row and your streak grows. You’ll find it in the recipe book.
Recipe book
How do I fill the recipe book?
Every bake that lands in your tin for the first time is added to the recipe book, with a little story. You’ll also find your stats there: rounds, merges, fists and daily doughs.
Settings and technical
Why is there no sound?
Teigle respects your iPhone’s silent switch – when it’s on, the app stays quiet. Sound effects and music can be turned off separately in the settings. If another app plays music or a podcast, Teigle’s music stays off and yours keeps playing.
How do I change the language?
Teigle speaks English, German and Spanish and follows your device language. You can also pick a language in the settings. The bakes keep their Swabian names in every language.
Is my progress backed up?
Best score, recipe book, daily doughs and settings are stored only on your device. They are part of your iCloud or device backup but aren’t synced between devices. If you delete the app, they’re gone.
Do I need internet?
No. Teigle works completely offline. Only sharing your result and this website need a connection.
