Data in the app
Stored on your device
So you can pick up where you left off, Teigle stores locally on your device: your best score, the bakes discovered in the recipe book, your Daily Dough results (points and biggest bake per day) and your streak derived from them, your stats (rounds played, merges and fists), whether you have seen the tutorial, and your settings (sound effects, music, haptics and language). This data is not sent to us. It is removed when you delete the app. If you back up your device via iCloud or otherwise, this data is part of your backup – as with any app.
No ads, no tracking
Teigle uses no ad networks, no analytics or tracking services and no cross-device identifiers. The app needs no internet connection to play. Little surprises, for example on holidays or early in the morning, come solely from your device’s date, time and region setting; this information never leaves your device. If you tap Help, Privacy or Imprint in the settings, this website opens in a browser window.
Sharing
When you share your Daily Dough result, your device’s share sheet opens – you decide what you share and with whom; we receive nothing. The shared text only contains the date, your points, an emoji grid and the name of your biggest bake.
App Store
Teigle is distributed via Apple’s App Store, test versions via TestFlight. When you download it, Apple processes data such as your account information under its own responsibility. If you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple provides us with aggregated statistics and crash reports that cannot be traced back to you; with TestFlight you can also voluntarily send us feedback and screenshots. See Apple’s privacy policy for details.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to reply and to fix bugs. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We delete your message once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Our mailbox is operated by Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Microsoft processes emails on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework under which Microsoft is certified (Art. 45 GDPR).
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics tools and loads no content from third-party servers; fonts and images are delivered with the page. The little baking tin on the home page runs entirely in your browser. If you switch the language using the link at the top of the page, your browser remembers this choice in local storage; this information never leaves your browser.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser information) in server log files to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The hosting provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework under which Vercel is certified (Art. 45 GDPR). How long Vercel keeps log data is described in Vercel’s privacy policy.
